Live-in Care or 24-hour Care
Accidents or incidents may happen at home at any time. The end result? A trip to the hospital.
This can be a frightening time. Adding to this stress is the fact that most people do not want to stay in the hospital any longer than they have to. As well, there always seems to be a high demand for hospital beds, so typically, the rush is on from both ends to have the client return home as quickly as possible. However, the hospital, in some instances, won’t agree without having arranged 24-hour care.
Surework Home Care Solutions is here to provide this senior care service in Victoria BC.
What We Offer:
24-Hour Care upon Hospital Discharge
Our staff can meet with the family at the hospital or at home and talk about the level of senior care required. We prepare for the return home by setting up 24-hour care for as long as needed. This would involve someone on duty around the clock – typically set up with two 12-hour shifts per day (day duty and night duty), with as much consistency as possible. If you are looking for more focus on duties during the day, and someone around at night to respond if necessary to any emergency, then perhaps the live-in care model is better suited to your senior care needs.
If you feel that live-in care is no longer required, we can also scale down our senior care service to hourly care on an ongoing basis.
