Live-in 24-hour Care

We can offer the service of one of our staff caregivers on a live-in basis within a matter of days, to help with duties such as:

Meal preparation • Cleaning/housekeeping • Personal care • Bathing • Incontinence care • Toileting • Mobility assistance • Shopping • Companionship • Medication reminders • General supervision • Dementia care • Overnight PEACE OF MIND

We specialize in providing one caregiver for one client: consistent, quality and affordable care that works for you.

Live-in shifts start with a minimum of 8 hours throughout the day. This can be set up as a split shift, with a block of hours in the morning and a block of hours in the later afternoon into the evening, or whatever best suits your situation, so a schedule could look like: 8:00am – 1:00pm, Break, then 5:00pm – 8:00pm… or some variation on that. Shifts with more than 8 hours availability throughout he day can also be arranged, depending on your needs.

Hospital discharge

Often, patients will not be released from hospital unless there is 24-hour care in the home upon return. We work with family as well as hospital staff and the local health authority to ensure that there is the proper level of care set up for the client, and that care is there for as long as required, for the hours that you require.

We can arrange a meeting in the hospital with the patient, family and nursing staff, and have our caregiver undergo the transfer of knowledge. Our caregiver can temporarily reside in the home and provide for the care needs throughout the day and be there overnight as well, for as many days per week as needed, and as many weeks or months or years as required, to help with:

Meal preparation • Cleaning/housekeeping • Personal care • Bathing • Incontinence care • Toileting • Mobility assistance • Shopping • Companionship • Medication reminders • General supervision • Dementia care • Overnight PEACE OF MIND

Long-term live-in

If you are looking to create a stable, consistent in-home care environment, with the peace of mind knowing there is someone in the house overnight in case of emergency, our staff are prepared to commit to the client as a live-in on a long-term basis.

Our caregiver can become like a trusted member of the family, and help with such things as:

Meal preparation • Cleaning/housekeeping • Personal care • Bathing • Incontinence care • Toileting • Mobility assistance • Shopping • Companionship • Medication reminders • General supervision • Dementia care • Overnight PEACE OF MIND

Short-term live-in

If you are not certain as to whether or not live-in care is for you, you can try the service for any number of weeks or months, and make that determination for yourself, with no huge commitment.

The caregiver will be there to help throughout the day with duties such as: Meal preparation • Cleaning/housekeeping • Personal care • Bathing • Mobility assistance • Shopping • Companionship • Medication reminders • General supervision • Dementia care • … and also reside there temporarily for overnight peace of mind.

Respite Care

If you are providing care for a loved one, and need some time away, or if you have care in place, and your caregiver is taking a leave of absence, we can step in and provide quality, consistent and affordable care to cover the gap.

One of our caregivers can provide respite on a live-in or live-out basis for as long as needed, for help with such things as:

Meal preparation • Cleaning/housekeeping • Personal care • Bathing • Incontinence care • Toileting • Mobility assistance • Shopping • Companionship • Medication reminders • General supervision • Dementia care • Overnight PEACE OF MIND

Nightshift

If you have care arranged throughout the day, but need assistance only over night, then we can help! If you are providing care throughout the day, then we can be there overnight, so you can get the rest that you require. We offer the services of one of our qualified staff caregivers to provide care and attend to the needs of clients strictly on an overnight basis, if that is what is required.

Our caregiver will be on duty throughout the night to help with assisting clients to the toilet or commode overnight, repositioning, medication reminders and companionship.

Weekend Relief

Having trouble to arrange care for your primary caregiver’s days off? We can help with that! Our caregivers can provide coverage on live-in or live-out basis, on the weekend or any other days off that you may need coverage for.

We can help with such care duties as: Meal preparation • Cleaning/housekeeping • Personal care • Bathing • Incontinence care • Toileting • Mobility assistance • Shopping • Companionship • Medication reminders • General supervision • Dementia care • Overnight PEACE OF MIND

In-home Caregiver Program

For long-term in-home senior care, there is no better option than the Federal Government’s In-home Caregiver Program. This program allows the family to hire an overseas caregiver to help with domestic and personal care needs: anything that the client would require to remain comfortable in their own home, such as:

Meal preparation • Cleaning/housekeeping • Personal care • Bathing • Incontinence care • Toileting • Mobility assistance • Shopping • Companionship • Medication reminders • General supervision • Dementia care • Overnight PEACE OF MIND

The cost for an ln-home caregiver is base on the median wage for home support worker in your area.

A good estimate for cost would be between $3000 – $4000/month.

Bridge Caregiver

If you have applied to hire a caregiver from overseas on the In-home Caregiver Program (formerly the Live-in Caregiver Program), and are awaiting their arrival, but need care sooner, we can arrange to have one of our caregivers to live-in on a temporary basis to “bridge” the gap.

We can provide assistance with care needs such as: Meal preparation • Cleaning/housekeeping • Personal care • Bathing • Incontinence care • Toileting • Mobility assistance • Shopping • Companionship • Medication reminders • General supervision • Dementia care • Overnight PEACE OF MIND

Once your caregiver arrives from overseas, they will be able to take over the role of our bridge caregiver.

Part-time Care

We can have our caregiver come to your house, for a block of time that suits your needs, to help with such things as:

Meal preparation • Cleaning/housekeeping • Personal care • Bathing • Incontinence care • Toileting • Mobility assistance • Shopping • Companionship • Medication reminders • General supervision • Dementia care

We strive to offer one caregiver for one client, and quality, consistent and affordable care that works for you.
